the melting mountains

The water that flows from the world’s highest mountain range is under threat — and with it, the lives of over a billion people who depend on it. The climate crisis is deepening and the Himalayas are melting, triggering a landslide of repercussions down the mountains that threaten precious water resources and the stability of the region.

I developed, produced, edited and wrote this 3-part series for the Geopolitics & Ecology of Himalayan Water initiative.

fork the system

We dig deeper into what food reveals about the world we live in, one forkful at a time. I co-created and co-hosted this documentary series that centers on food to explore North Korean defectors in South Korea, the role of women in Vietnam, and the Moro Muslim minority in the Philippines.

7 stories for 7 years

An immersive 360º series that highlights different aspects of a teenager’s life in Za’atari refugee camp seven years into the Syrian war, including the joys of football, theater, and family. I went to Z'a’atari and held a workshop, where I trained and worked with the Syrian teenagers to film their own stories.

my people, our stories

Eight emerging filmmakers from the Middle East and Africa produce their first 360° videos about inspiring individuals from their communities, from a young girl in South Africa using dance to keep off the streets, to an environmental activist cleaning up Lebanon's polluted waters. I developed and launched this initiative.
